1 inch (25 mm) Premium Silk Dome Tweeter with Rear Chamber

This Oaktron one-inch Silk Dome tweeter is an ideal choice for two-way systems. It features a wave guide design for a smoother frequency response, and a large rear chamber for crossovers with 6.5" or 8" woofers. A powerful neodymium magnet allows for high electrical damping and sensitivity. The faceplate features recessed mounting holes, reducing reflections from mounting screws.

Note: Protect the tweeters installed in your audio system. Lower frequencies are not desirable signals to send to a tweeter. They can damage or destroy the tweeter diaphragm. Protection is important. Use a simple passive crossover (First Order), by using a (proper value) capacitor to stop low frequencies from making it to the tweeter. You can also further refine your audio system by adding more complex crossovers with inductors and more capacitors and resistors. Or, ultimately you may want to add an active crossover system.
